I can admit I get pretty intense about horror movies and such during the Halloween season. My Halloween Watchlist is pretty intense on its own (check back on 10/1), but adding the new releases listed below moves intense to damn near impossible. Along with the 9 movies on my annual watchlist, the October 2020 new releases add 6 television series and 10 movies for a total of absolutely NO LIFE next month.

To be fair, I would have likely consumed just as much content regardless of this blog or my desire to provide reviews. Hell, I would have watched just as much even if COVID-19 hadn't scared us all indoors. Nevertheless, I will be hard-pressed to get as many reviews in as I can, while maintaining a level of quality. As much as I'd like to write on everything, I will definitely be prioritizing The Haunting of Bly Manor, Marvel's Helstrom, Monsterland, and the 4 Blumhouse/Amazon films (Black Box, The Lie, Nocturne, Evil Eye). Time to run by Dollar Tree and grab my candy supplies for the month.

October 1

Scare Me (Shudder)

October 2

Monsterland (Hulu)

October 6

The Lie (Prime Video)

October 7

October 8

The Cleansing Hour (Shudder)

October 9

The Haunting of Bly Manor (Netflix)

October 13

The Purge TV Series: Season 2 (Hulu)

October 16

Anyone else going to spend a lot of October on the couch? No? Just me? I'm ok with that.
