At a time when Marvel news has been so non-existent that it's felt pre-MCU, any sliver of rumor or possibility is latched onto as gospel. Marvel has given fans the first big news in months, announcing that Emmy Award-winning actress Tatiana Maslany has been cast as the MCU's Jennifer Walters, Bruce Banner's cousin, who practices law when she isn't transforming into the hero known as She-Hulk.

It's crazy how a tidbit of information can blow the floodgates off a river of memories that you've been so far removed from, you'd think they were fiction. Seeing Tatiana connected to the MCU sent me back to 2014 when I first accepted my place into Clone Club and welcomed BBC America's Orphan Black to my upper echelon of TV. What impressed me the most, outside of the clone conspiracy and ethical implications explored in the show, was Maslany's acting prowess as she expertly juggled the personalities of different clone characters. She primarily portrayed the five characters noted below across the 5 seasons, but also portrayed many other clones met with limited screen time.

Left to Right: Sarah Manning (Rebellious Main Character), Alison Hendrix (Suburban Soccer Mom), Cosima Niehaus (Hipster PhD Biologist), Rachel Duncan (Ruthless CEO antagonist|), Helena (Ukrainian Assasin)
I never felt as though I was seeing 5 different variations of Sarah or Alison, with Maslany making sure that each character existed as her own, even though they were all the same actor. Maslany's personality, mannerisms, and thought patters all shifted seamlessly for each clone she lent her talents. Assuming that She-Hulk will be portrayed through CGI with Maslany's facial mapping (the same way Hulk is shown in the MCU) I have little doubt in Maslany's ability to have She-Hulk feel real and distinct in character. This casting moved Disney+'s She-Hulk from a show I'd "just watch" to one I'm very much looking forward to.
Luckily for you, maybe, you can stream Tatiana Maslany's Emmy-winning performance in Orphan Black on Amazon Prime Video.
